[West Coast Ocean Data Network] US Senators Introduce Geospatial Data Act

West Coast Ocean Data Network - I am pleased to share some important news
coming out of Washington DC that U.S. Senators Orrin Hatch, R-UT, and Mark
Warner, D-VA, have introduced a bill into the US Senate aimed at better
coordination and access of geospatial data. This is an important piece of
legislation that compliments the work the West Coast Ocean Data Network has
been engaged in over the last two years.

send letters of support to your US Senators if you want to see this pass
the Senate.

Also, look out for the West Coast Ocean Data Portal at upcoming events like
Coastal Geotools, CalGIS, and the Oregon Coastal and Ocean Data Network
meeting next month.
