Ha! I was going to suggest The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas too. I just listened to the audio and it was amazing. Ann Brashares has a new YA book out called The Whole Thing Together that I enjoyed. The always wonderful Sarah Dessen's book out today is called Once and For All that I can't wait to read.
I don't have time to read much adult fiction. John Grisham has a new book out called Camino Island. The line at BookExpo last week to have him sign it was insanely long!

Ok, this is a fun one:

I gave my son’s teacher a gift certificate to our local indie bookstore and wrote on it to use it for something fun. She emailed me to thank me this morning, and asked for the hottest adult and hottest YA book of the summer. Yikes, just one of each?!

So I’m challenging the collective brain—what is your one hottest adult and one hottest YA pick of the summer? (I think she means new and what everyone’s reading right now…)
