[yscon] Please share: ALA-CBC Reading Beyond lists

Hi all,

I wanted to share a new book list resource with all of you. The ALA-Children’s Book Council Joint Committee just released a list of recommended books for kids who are advanced readers, but who still need titles that are age-appropriate. The list is posted online, but is also available as a printable handout that can be given to parents and educators.

Feel free to share these lists with your member librarians. There will also be copies of the handouts, as well as a flier with the link, at some of the ALA booths at Annual in Chicago and at some ALSC meetings.
