Hi, Carrie,

You are awesome! ??
Thank you very much for creating this so quickly after our meeting.
This is a great compilation of what we learned and I can use it to explain what we discussed at the meeting to my State Librarian too. I have already submitted a program proposal about this for our state's library association conference in the spring and am looking forward to getting more guidance on training resources.

~Sharon

Hi everyone,

Please see attached a synopsis I created to share with my Chief Officer, summarizing our two days in Louisville at the YALSA National Forum. These are my take-aways from our time together, along with my next steps for implementation in MD. Please edit as you need, based on your own interpretation of the time and your next steps in your state. I hope this is at least a start for you as you formulate your plans regarding Teen services in your state. (And full disclosure -- I tried to make it a one-pager but couldn't do it. Page and 1/2.) :)

I do not think this is reaching everyone, since not all were a part of this listserv when we discussed on Tuesday. Please forward to anyone you know who would like to receive. I am copying Paige from Wyoming.

I so enjoyed being with all of you and learning from you. I feel like these face-to-face meetings could be essential in future planning, application, and accountability - and I hope it happens again. At the least, we will see each other again in Denver for the CSLP meeting in the Spring. Maybe we can have a Teen Services happy hour. :)

Thank you for all you do. Have a wonderful weekend, holiday season, and warm winter! (unless you love snow and are a skier!)

Carrie :)
