Regarding the online classes, we do have the participants fill out a survey about their experience, but there are no firm rules on "reporting out to the field". This was something I was speaking to a CE Team Member about yesterday, as she said there is a lot of great feedback about a recent "Tween Programming" course that was completed. For these courses, spots are available on a first come, first served basis.

I was able to give out a dozen travel scholarships to the upcoming YALSA Symposium, since the conference is in our state (and I'm hoping to get approval to do this again for the ALSC conference next fall). I did have a formal application process, and per terms of the agreement (that was signed by the library director) scholarship winners will be required to present in future panels or webinars on teen topics as organized by the agency.

I'm happy to share any documents or details off-list to those interested.

I just sent this to my Division Supervisor and LSTA Coordinator - and hoping once our budget is "unfrozen" that we can pursue this possibility with LSTA funds.

For the past year, I have worked with our CE Section to buy a limited amount of seats in online courses through the University of Wisconsin. These projects have been well received by library staff.
