I also like the post-it notes. I have some of the larger post-its that we used at the YSCON/YALSA summit last fall after the YASLA Symposium. I can bring some of those.

And I'd say unless there is something really big, really new, or really difficult that we need to share with the group that we have just those people speak. We do have this listserv and we check in with each other so frequently that we should be able to focus our discussion appropriately on the big stuff.

I like this idea!  Perhaps we could group similar topics together so that we can connect with one another is someone is doing something we want to learn more about (but don't have time to discuss in the meeting)...

For the actual discussion, I personally like a more directed conversation as far as topic/s go-which can still be done in a pass-the-mic structure but lets people think about it a bit more ahead of time so the discussion is focused.

I was going to say that maybe there can be post it notes on the table(s) so we can write a brief comment about what we're doing in that smaller sized space. Then post it on the wall.
I think we can pass the mic too, but having it written down first will focus our discussion so we are briefer. Without having something written down, I don't always remember what everyone is saying. With post-it notes, we have a record and people can take photos of them if they want to
do so.

Great question! I will not be attending the CSLP Annual Meeting this year because of a conflict with a statewide LSTA project meeting.

For those attending, what would be the best use of the 8-9am breakfast meeting time on Wednesday the 11th set aside for YSCON conversation? Pass the mic? Sign up? Create slides?
