[YSPNetwork] Initial OSSCC Planning Meeting for 4th Annual Safe Schools Training Workshop

Dear Members, Friends, and Supporters of OSSCC,
 
The Oregon Safe Schools and Communities Coalition (OSSCC)  is gearing up for
its 4th Annual Statewide Safe Schools Training Workshop to take place in
Portland in late October or early November 2005. Last year's workshop in
Bend was a great success and we look forward to another opportunity to
support local youth/adult teams in Oregon working to make schools and
communities safer for youth regardless of sexual orientation or gender
identity. This is a good opportunity for those of you who are interested in
getting in on the ground floor planning for the next workshop.
 
You are invited to participate in the initial planning session which will
take place in Portland on Tuesday, March 29, from 4 pm to 5:30 pm. This time
was selected to accommodate those of you who live beyond the Portland metro
area and who want to be involved with the planning team. Youth and adults
are welcome and encouraged to attend.We will be meeting in Portland at
Waverly Heights United Church of Christ, 3300 SE Woodward (between Division
and Powell).
 
Please RSVP to me by return e-mail if you plan to attend this meeting so
that we can anticipate the number of people who will be at the meeting.
 
Can't make the March 29 planning meeting but still want to participate in
the planning? Not to worry. Your thoughts, input, suggestions, etc., will be
considered if you send them to me prior to the March 29 meeting.
