Scholarships for College Students, Faculty and Staff 

Through the support of SAMHSA and the Garrett Lee Smith Grant, Regis University is pleased to offer partial scholarships to all college students, faculty and staff who would like to attend the Bridging the Divide: Suicide Awareness and Prevention Summit.

*	Application Process: Must fax/email copy of valid campus ID and one page letter of intent: 

	*	Name, address, email, phone 
	*	why this conference is of relevance to you 
	*	what you would like to attend: preconference session with Laurie Davidson (May 20th), regular conference (May 21st  & 22nd) or both 
	*	Once your application is approved, you will need to register under a special page for scholarship recipients (you will receive a special code at that time) 

*	Details of Scholarship:  

	*	Partial scholarship for main conference (Wed & Thurs. May 21 & 22) = $50 making registration only $25 for students and $50 for faculty/staff (if you get your registration in by the early registration deadline: April 21st).  AND/OR 
	*	Full scholarship to attend full-day pre-conference session "Developing a Comprehensive Action Plan for Preventing College Student Suicide" with Laurie Davidson, Suicide Prevention Resource Center (May 20th) - worth $100.  We will keep giving these away on a first come first serve basis until the scholarship money runs out. 

Scholarships for Faith Communities - sponsored by Jefferson Unitarian Church.  We will offer fully funded scholarships for faith communities sending 3+ people (until scholarship money runs out).  Contact Sally Spencer-Thomas 303-458-4323 sspencer at regis.edu for details.

Purpose:  Suicide affects everyone, and we have a shared responsibility to prevent it. Regis University <http://www.regis.edu/>  is the proud host of this national conference that will bring together the best minds and most passionate advocates for suicide prevention. Our mission is to bridge the divide among disciplines and resources to create a united front of stakeholders addressing this critical public health problem.
