YSPNetworkers - a correction on information I sent earlier. There are 3
suicide survivor conferences in Washington state: Bremerton, Parkland
and Shoreline. There was a second page of conference sites on the AFSP
website that I didn't see.

I'm copying a notice below about the National Suicide Survivors Day
conferences being held in local communities and online on Saturday,
November 21st. This is/can be a very meaningful event for those who have
lost a loved one to suicide, no matter how recently or how long ago.
There are 6 conferences scheduled throughout Oregon, 8 in Montana, none
in Washington or Idaho (at least on the official AFSP website). Please
see below to link to information about the conferences and for
locations. There is contact information for each local site.

National Survivors of Suicide Day, a day of healing for bereavement
after suicide, is Saturday, November 21, 2009.Every year, the American
Foundation for Suicide Prevention sponsors this day to provide an
opportunity for survivors of suicide loss to come together for support,
healing, and information. Because the problem of suicide knows no
national or cultural boundaries,survivors from around the world are
invited to participate by attending a local conference or by watching
the webcast from home. 
You are not alone. Please visit www.afsp.org/survivorday  to:
1.       Locate a local conference site near you. (14 countries now
participating!)
2.       Pre-register to watch the live webcast from a home computer
from 1-2:30 pm Eastern Standard Time (GMT-5), and then join in a live
online chat immediately afterwards, or
3.       If you live in a time zone where watching the live webcast is
impractical, you can watch the webcast later "on demand" from a home
computer.
4.       You can also watch webcasts from previous years at anytime.
