[YSPNetwork] Oregon study - PTSD & combat veterans

I'm forwarding an email from a researcher at OHSU who is conducting
research on combat veterans who have PTSD. See below for a video that
shows one study participant and for more information. Inform veterans of
the opportunity to participate in the study and contact Jennifer Bishop
for more information.

Many of you heard my announcement last month about the study with
combat veteran post-traumatic stress disorder that I am running at OHSU.
 Since then, KOIN TV did a wonderful piece describing the study that I
would like to share with you. It includes a powerful interview with a
combat veteran who was in my study.  Please check out the link to the

We are still looking for 87 more combat veterans with PTSD to complete
the study. There is no cost to the veteran, in fact they get paid $100
to participate.
 
If you know of any combat veterans with PTSD, please have them call
Jennifer Bishop at 503-494-7399 with questions and to see if they are
eligible.  We would also be happy to give you some flyers to put up at
your site and/or come do a presentation for your service community
(either providers or veterans themselves). 
 
Any way you can help us get the word out so we can help combat veterans
with PTSD in need would be greatly appreciated!
