[YSPNetwork] September 10 is World Suicide Prevention Day

Good morning YAT'ers,

This Friday, September 10 is World Suicide Prevention Day. Oregon's #2 killer for our Young Adults is through suicide and yet it is a killer that we can all help in preventing. 

To mark the day, folks are participating in Take 5 to Save Lives: http://ncsponline.org/takefive.html an online event to help focus people's attention to the fact that suicide is preventable and we can all do something to help. So "Take 5" and spread the word through Facebook, Twitter,  or email. 

I have also CC'd the wonderful YSPnetwork list-serve, run out of our Public Health office, and would urge you to join if you are interested in taking on this issue beyond Friday. http://listsmart.osl.state.or.us/mailman/listinfo/yspnetwork
