Hello Answerlanders,

A student is looking for help:

"In my 12th grade Rhetoric class we are composing research essays on various topics. The thesis statement of my project is that banning Native American mascots everywhere is just. The premise that I am currently trying to prove is that banning native american mascots everywhere would eliminate demeaning portrayals of Native Americans. I was hoping that you might be able to offer some expert assistance by answering two questions that I had? The questions I have are: Are there any Native American mascots that have been banned in the United States? Are there any other organizations claiming that all Native American mascots are demeaning? If so, what is the best way to contact them to inquire further?"

You can find this question in the Shared Followup list in QuestionPoint (Question ID 11906503)
