Hello again Answerlanders,

A fellow librarian needs our help!

"Population statistics for Oregon for Asian Indian population: do they exist? US Census aggregates race and does not directly break out Asian Indian (people of Indian subcontinental origin) separately. Pew Research does enhance the existing data with their own work (example here, based on 2012 surveys: http://pewrsr.ch/1vrtFjS http://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2014/09/30/5-facts-about-indian-americans/). Are there any pop estimates for Asian Indians by state, and if so, what are the most recent numbers for the state of Oregon? Thanks for your assistance with this patron's request."
