Good morning Answerlanders,

A patron needs our help:

"I am looking for resources for my fiancee who is working on publishing her first book. Do you have any online suggestions, current / trustworthy books, general guidelines, or possibly editor/ publisher talks? She is currently writing query letters but has gotten many rejections with polite but un helpful responses like this "isn't for me." She has some general knowledge on how to structure her letter but is mostly freelancing her proposals. We are located in Portland , OR if there are any local resources or seminars available. She is not looking for anything that costs money to use. Loking for information in any format. Her book series is a fantasy trilogy for young adults."
