[Boli_rules] Oregon Labor and Industries Notice of Permanent Rules - Wage and Hour Division

On October 31, 2019, Oregon Labor and Industries filed Permanent Rules with the Oregon Secretary of State related to the following issues:

*       House Bill 2593 - Expression of Milk

o   Amends OARs related to rest periods for the expression of milk that included language that directly mirrored statutory language repealed by HB 2593 and limited application of the law to covered employers. The final rules regarding rest periods for expression of milk are only for the purpose of aligning directly with the statutory changes.

*       House Bill 3193 - Increase cap on Wage Security Fund from $4,000 - $10,000

*       Property Service Contractors - Increase licensing fee from $250 - $350

All of the above  rules become effective January 1, 2020.
