Excess Cost Calculation

This is a final reminder that excess cost calculations must be completed by close of business on March 31, 2009. We extended the completion date by nearly two months this year, but still have a good number outstanding.

It is vitally important that this calculation be completed and submitted on time, particularly in view of the fact that a district cannot spend its IDEA grant, or will have to repay what has been spent, for 2008-2009 without meeting the excess cost requirement.

Please remember that one original hard copy, signed and dated by an authorized official of your district, should be submitted.  Please send directly to:
