I am sending this reminder because there are still 123 districts that have not submitted their 2010-11 ARRA Actual Expenditures data to ODE and the collection closes today, February 15.  Here is the reminder that went out in the February 2, Data Newsline.

ARRA Actual Expenditures
Be sure to submit the district ARRA Actual Expenditures 10-11.  It should include all ARRA expenditures including State Fiscal Stabilization Fund (SFSF), Ed Jobs, ARRA IDEA, ARRA Title 1, ARRA Food Service Equipment, etc. by Fund, Function, Object, OpUnit, AofR and amount.  The ARRA Actual Expenditures 10-11 collection is located on the ODE District Website (https://district.ode.state.or.us/home/), login, Consolidated Collections, Institution Collections, ARRA Actual Expenditures 10-11 and File Upload.  It works exactly the same as your regular Actuals expenditure submission.

Submit expenditures only, NO revenue.   If your computer system is unable to extract the ARRA data needed, you may use the Expenditure tab portion of the 2010-11 Actuals SMF Creator to create the upload file.  It is the last option under Documents at https://district.ode.state.or.us/apps/info/DataCllctnDetail.aspx?id=151.  If you have any problems, please allow me to assist you.

A couple helpful hints:
1.      Save the SMF Creator to your computer.
2.      Enable macros.
3.      Only enter header information in the yellow cells
4.      The InstID and SenderID are the same four digit Institution ID your district is assigned.
5.      Add as many rows as needed before copying data into the spreadsheet.  It will not calculate if the 'Total' row is covered up.
6.      Click 'Make Expenditure SMF' to create the file to upload.  Jot down the location and name of the new file.  Upload the new file, NOT the SMF Creator.
