[Busmgrs] 2012-13 Updated Estimates

Dear Business Managers,

May can be a great month. The warm weather encourages lots of flowers to bloom and, in the case of my yard, weeds to spring up. Even though I have allergies I enjoy it.

Another benefit to May is that estimates keep popping up as well :)  This is the latest-and yes, this is the last-estimate for 2012-13. The May reconciliation will be based on this estimate. We had some districts have errors with the last estimate and we worked with them to correct the errors. One of the results of those corrections meant producing a new estimate. The good news is that the vast majority of district should see a very minor change.

Another unusual occurrence is that we will be posting two estimates today. The 2012-13 and the 2013-14 estimate. Please note that for your records.
