[CAFR-Contacts-News] OAM Policy Out for Comment: 15.65.20 - Arbitrage

Hello CAFR Accountants,

 

SARS has updated the following policy and posted it for comment. This
policy reflects the new DAS statewide policy template, which combines
the policy and procedures into one document. In addition, the DAS
Communications Coordinator has edited the policy for plain language.

 

*       OAM 15.65.20 - Arbitrage 

Form 75.15.01 - Arbitrage Certificate

 

The revised policy now instructs agencies to reclassify the portion of
the arbitrage liability due within one year to GL 1619 - Arbitrage
Rebate Payable-Current.  The policy also includes the financial
reporting and disclosure requirements. The Arbitrage Certificate that
agencies must complete by October 31, if applicable, has been updated as
well. 

 

Please review the policy draft and the revised form and send me your
comments no later than September 18.

The effective date for this policy is October 1, 2009.
