The Management Services Division of the Department of Environmental
Quality has an immediate opening for and full-time Accountant 4
position, located in Portland, Oregon. 

The purpose of this position is to ensure that expenditure accounting
transactions are made and recorded in accordance with GASB#34 and
statewide accounting policies and procedures; to assist the accounting
manager in developing and implementing internal controls to insure the
accuracy and integrity of financial information and resolve difficult
and unusual accounting problems; to prepare DEQ financial statements
including disclosures and narratives and to prepare financial reports
for federal grants.
