Hello Everyone,

 

New this year, the GFOA will use "live video and audio streaming" to
present its 14th Annual Governmental GAAP Update on Thursday, November
5, 2009, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm PT. 

 

This means that SARS will not host an offsite conference room (as done
in the past to accommodate the use of satellite transmission) because
participants will now be able to view the presentation from the
convenience of their own computers. 

 

As in the past, agencies must work directly with the GFOA to register
and pay. In addition, the GFOA (not SARS) will send CPE certificates to
participants.
