[CAFR-Contacts-News] SARS Year-end Close Training

Hello CAFR Contacts,

I am pleased to announce that the FY 2015 Year-end Close Training has been scheduled for Tuesday, June 16, from 8:00am - 12:00 pm.  The training will be held at the Employment Department auditorium, located at 875 Union Street NE in Salem.

This training has been added to the Oregon iLearn website (link<ilearn.oregon.gov>).

As a reminder, a representative from all agencies included in the CAFR must attend the training, as it is a Gold Star event.

We will cover the following topics:

*         Budgetary accounting for the end of the biennium;

*         YE schedule;

*         Changes to disclosures;

*         SEFA;

*         Interagency/interfund transactions;

*         Expenses, expenditures and payables;

*         Capital outlay and non-capital assets; and

*         Capitalization of intangible assets.
