Good morning.

As a refresher, GASB 87, Leases, is the standard that removes the notions of operating leases and capital leases, shifting most leases to an accounting approach that is most similar to capital leases, though not exactly the same.

SARS created a survey to assess the status of state agency GASB 87 implementation efforts and requests that each agency participate in the survey. The survey includes 10 questions with an estimated completion time of 3 minutes.
