[CtyTobProMgrs] Lane County Smoke and Tobacco Free Properties

Hello Everyone,

On November 7th, 2017, the Lane County Board of Commissioners sitting also as the Board of Health voted 4-1 to approve an ordinance that would designate Lane County properties as being smoke and tobacco free. The ordinance does not allow smoking at any time:

1.       Within any interior space of facilities owned or occupied by Lane County

2.       On all outside property or grounds owned or occupied by Lane County, including parks, natural areas, parking areas; and

3.       In vehicles owned by Lane County or in personal vehicles when on Lane County property.

County roads and County rights of way are exempted from this policy.  I have attached the signed ordinance for your convenience.
