Subject: PERS Rule Change Notification

Good morning,

Attached please find the PERS temporary rule filed with the Secretary of State on January 18, 2019. You can also find the rule on DAS' rulemaking page<https://www.oregon.gov/das/Financial/Pages/rulemaking.aspx>. We will take the necessary steps to make this a permanent rule prior the temporary rule's expiration in July.

This rule deletes the former PERS "pick up" language and adds in language pertaining to the salary limitations (currently $280,000 cap) and 6% employee contributions that went into limited effect last year with more to follow in February and June 2019.
