[DAS_Centralized_PERS_Services_Team] PERS Rulemaking: Student Employee

Greetings HR & Payroll,

PERS has proposed a an amendment to OAR 459-005-0025 relating to the definition of a "student employee".

PERS & OPSRP statutes (ORS 238.015 and 238A.005) mention student employees in their definitions; however it is not well defined. The purpose of an administrative rule is to elaborate the requirements of a statute and this this amendment to OAR 459-005-0025 further defines "student employee" for business purposes.

You may see the official notice and proposed changes to this rule in the attached document (blue is text being added, red is text being removed).
