Please join us on Tuesday, March 23rd as we showcase
iLearnOregon/iLincOregon- state government's learning community!

iLearnOR is a dynamic online learning and knowledge management system
that integrates general learning management functions (course catalog,
registration, enrollments, transcripts and administration) as well as
advanced tools such as individual development plans, skill assessments
and performance evaluations. iLearnOR is currently being used by 24
state agencies for a variety of training and performance needs -
including access to skill-based eLearning modules. There are currently
54,000 user accounts, 15,000 active users and over 1,700 online and
classroom-based courses in the system.

iLincOR is a virtual classroom created in a virtual space that
replicates an in-classroom environment. Students and instructors
participate remotely using personal computers. iLearnOR agencies
currently have free access to use iLincOR as a tool to deliver training
- dramatically reducing training costs, including travel.

Many of our participating agencies are also leveraging iLearnOR to
deliver and manage learning initiatives for their statewide public
partners. For example, the State Fire Marshal has successfully
implemented fire programs to thousands of fire district personnel,
providing them with a cost effective approach to training, certification
and licensure requirements. We are also seeing a growing use with
agencies that provide on-line learning for students. Even more exciting
are the performance management tools - allowing agencies to manage
individual development plans based on job title as well as measure
progress toward job related competencies and skills using the iLearnOR
skill assessment tool. PERS is currently piloting these tools for
agency-specific IT related positions.
