 *   Funding Status.  The application window for FY 2011 will open January 11th and close March 24th.  Prospects for Priority 2 funding down to 80% are bleak.  Wave 37 for FY 2010 and Wave 80 for FY 2009 will be released this week.
 *   Basic Maintenance: Beyond SMARTnet.  The basic maintenance clarification on SMARTnet, discussed last week, provides a model for handling other maintenance contracts, but one critical issue remains to be resolved.
 *   Schools and Libraries News Brief dated February 4.  Last week's News discusses a number of aspects of the Form 470 procurement process.
