  *   Funding Status.  The application window for FY 2012 will open January 9 and close March 20, 2012.  Wave 27 for FY 2011 and Wave 79 for FY 2010 will be released this week.
  *   E-Rate Updates and Reminders.  The FY 2012 Omnibus Appropriations Act includes a two-year ADA exemption for the E-rate program.  The FCC approved 46 contract-related appeals.
  *   Schools and Libraries Special News Brief dated December 23.  The SLD latest News Brief notes that winter contact procedures will be in place 12/32-2011 - 1/6/2012.
