  *   Funding Status.  The application window for FY 2012 will open January 9 and close March 20, 2012.  Wave 28 for FY 2011 and Wave 80 for FY 2010 will be released this week.
  *   2011 Review - 2012 Preview.  2011 included updates to major forms, a new CPIA Order, additional clarifications on gifts and maintenance, and other developments.  A major new FCC E-rate order is expected in 2012.
  *   Schools and Libraries Special News Brief dated December 30.  The SLD latest News Brief includes brief reminders on three important dates in January including the opening of the FY 2012 application window on January 9th.
