[gis_info] [FIT] Administrative Boundaries Standard

The Oregon Cadastral FIT is in the process of modifying the Cadastral
Data Exchange Standard to include as an optional item the Map Index
polygons in shapefile format, and invites your review. The comment
period is 45 days and will close 1/20/09. Please address comments to
Cress Bates (Cress.Bates at co.lane.or.us). The revised document is
available on the FIT's web site:
http://www.oregon.gov/DAS/EISPD/GEO/fit/cadastral/CadastralFrame.shtml ;
and is titled "Cadastral Data Exchange Standard v2.0 DRAFT 12/3/08
(pdf).
