Hello Cy,

 

There is currently discussion of cutting back our GIS program at the
City and I am looking for ways of promoting and helping managers, city
councilors, mayor, and even citizens understand how our investment in
GIS is of value to the organization. Any material or suggestions you can
provide would be greatly appreciated.

 

I have put together an informational brochure that may be helpful to the
group. You can download and print the brochure by following this link:

"Geographic Information System Brochure, PDF format". My focus is
helping people understand how GIS is used at the City and how it may be
useful for citizens and other government agencies.
