Just a reminder that next week is the joint meeting of the "ArcGIS Server and the API's" and the ESRI User Group in downtown Portland.

This meeting will be a little longer than usual, but will contain much needed information for all of us.

Presentations:

 1.  Informal panel discussion of available or planned map services
    *   Marc Rempel, Oregon Explorer
    *   Erik Endrulat/David Mather, Oregon Department of Administrative Services
    *   Sheri Schneider, US Geological Survey
 2.  Developing common tools, or components, with the APIs
    *   TJ Abbenhaus, ESRI - The Flex API

Come learn about the new ArcGIS server application programming interface using Adobe FLEX. Learn how the ESRI sample viewer can be configured and extended using programming and non-programming techniques. We will discuss and show how the application programming interface provided through ArcGIS server and FLEX technology can be configured and programmed. We will explore how to create applications and widgets for custom applications serving your data from ArcGIS server services. We will explain and discuss what FLEX is and how it can be used with ESRI application programming interfaces to create rich Internet applications and how to add configured programming widgets.
