Enforcement/Emergency Management

Government Training Inc has announced its expanded training and
publishing in the Intelligence Sector - to bring National Intelligence
best practices to federal, state and local security, law enforcement,
anti-terrorism and physical security managers.  

The company seeks instructors with professional experience and
demonstrated credentials in the area of GIS for Intelligence, Emergency
Response and Law Enforcement applications.  Experience at the national
intelligence level is preferred.  The candidate must have extensive
teaching and leadership experience in this sector.

The selected candidate(s) will create a 1-2 day UNCLASSIFIED course on
this topic, be available for presentation of the course at our class-A
training facilities in Washington, D.C. and San Diego.  We expect to
present this course three times in 2010 for a total of 6 training days.
Course content will consist of powerpoint presentation materials and
related handouts.

The instructor will be compensated for each training day and any
necessary travel and per diem.

The selected instructor must create his or her training content
completely independent of vendor-specific solutions.

Here is a possible description of the course:

The Geospatial Analysis and Intelligence, Law Enforecement and Emergency
Response Workshop provides a solid introduction to the processes,
methods, and products of Geospatial Analysis to support these sectors.
The course is intended to provide an overview for new geospatial
analysis users in government, law enforcement, and industry, with a
practical introduction to use of important geospatial tools, and
analytic methods. Attendees are provided with an understanding of the
types of geospatial analyses and products, with examples relevant to law
enforcement, intelligence and security applications. 

Possible Agenda:

*	Background to Geospatial Intelligence GEOINT
capabilities:Intelligence, military, commercial and homeland security
applications 
*	Catalog and description of GEOINT Products and their
applications 
*	GEOINT Analytic Process 
*	Imagery Analysis (IMINT) 
*	Geospatial Analysis 
*	Example Geospatial products and analyses 
*	Practical Introductory Demonstrations of GEOINT tools and
functions (the instructor will demonstrate the use of tools with sample
data sets, and a representative security and/or intelligence
application) 
*	Integrating Geospatial information and other sources 
*	Future Directions and Emerging Geospatial Capabilities

*	Executives responsible for situational awareness programs 
*	Planning Section Managers 
*	Risk Office Operations, and Enterprise Business Continuity
Program Personnel 
*	GIS Managers and Specialists requiring a comprehensive
introduction to GEOINT

Awareness Programs Emergency Operations, Disaster Management Center
