[gis_info] Final Revision of the Oregon Aerial Imagery Index Data Standard available for comment

The Oregon Aerial Imagery Index Data Standard was reviewed at the recent
GIS Standards Forum with the intent of gaining group endorsement.
Discussion centered around required vs. optional data elements resulted
in the need for additional modifications. The current document (v 1.08)
addresses these concerns with the following statement: "Like all
metadata records more information adds additional value to the data
being documented. All features are recommended for all projects both
future and historic, but may not be known in many cases of historic
projects. Therefore only a few data elements are mandatory with the
remainder being optional." 

 

This is the version of the document that will be presented to OGIC for
their consideration at their December 15th Meeting.
