Northwest GIS User Conference
October 17-21, 2011 - Boise, Idaho

The early registration price for the 2011 Northwest GIS User Conference
in Boise, Idaho October 17-21, 2011 has been extended to October 7,
2011. Take advantage of this opportunity to save money to attend this
regional GIS conference covering the four Pacific Northwest states.
Share your work with and learn from your fellow GIS professionals from
across the Pacific Northwest. We have some information to share about
this upcoming conference.

There is still room in a few of the preconference classes. You can find
more information about the classes and register for classes at 
http://nwgis.org/category/conference/training.

We have still have some user presentation slots open and plenty of
poster opportunities still available. Submit your presentation of poster
soon at http://nwgis.org/program/sessions.

We have added a panel discussion on Friday morning discussing GISP and
ESRI certification. Come listen and discuss these certification options.

We are holding elections for NWGIS Directors. You must attend the
conference to vote. When you check in at the registration desk, you will
receive a ballot. Please vote for one candidate for each position and
deposit your ballots in the ballot box that will be located at the
registration table and the exhibitor hall. Ballots must be received by
the beginning of the general business meeting on Friday, October 21,
2011 at 11:00 AM. You can find information about each candidate at
