ODFW is recruiting applicants for our Wildlife Connectivity Coordinator position, which will coordinate statewide species movement and habitat connectivity efforts at the landscape scale to help conserve species by improving wildlife movement, connecting key habitats, and restoring ecological processes. The GIS component of the position will focus on modeling habitat connectivity using spatial analysis tools, working with large datasets, and highlighting both connectivity corridors and barriers to animal movement at landscape and localized scales.
