I would recommend contacting the Population Research Center at Portland State University.  Here is a link to some of the studies and profiles they are collecting to answer these types of questions:

To my knowledge, this is the best resource.

Has anyone seen any recent analysis of how home prices compare by zip code, neighborhood or city across the state?
