[gis_info] GIS question about housing affordability in Oregon

Josh's suggestion is a good one. Esri also recently released a story map on affordable housing. It has interactive maps built into it that has data for the U.S. down to the zip code level. So you could look at several factors that they put together for the entire state/region.

Shawn,

I would recommend contacting the Population Research Center at Portland State University. Here is a link to some of the studies and profiles they are collecting to answer these types of questions:

To my knowledge, this is the best resource.

Subject: [gis_info] GIS question about housing affordability in Oregon

Hi there Oregon GIS folks,

We have a GIS question about housing affordability here in Portland and how it compares to other parts of the state.

Has anyone seen any recent analysis of how home prices compare by zip code, neighborhood or city across the state?

Thank you,
Shawn Helm
