Really good interactive satellite imagery tool here - Bert Granberg shared this recently, credit to him. Some good channels for monitoring the fires and smoke patterns thanks to NOAA RAMMB and Colorado State and others.

Here's a loop with the past 48 hours with natural color + enchanced fire visibility<https://rammb-slider.cira.colostate.edu/?sat=goes-17&z=4&im=48&ts=6&st=0&et=0&speed=130&motion=loop&map=1&lat=0&opacity%5B0%5D=1&hidden%5B0%5D=0&pause=0&slider=-1&hide_controls=0&mouse_draw=0&follow_feature=0&follow_hide=0&s=rammb-slider&sec=full_disk&p%5B0%5D=cira_natural_fire_color&x=12984.958984375&y=2527.666748046875> - if you click on it today, it'll show the period since Monday when the winds came and the fires exploded.

Then use the left side controls to change the loop specs.

Best wishes to everyone. Stay safe.
Molly
