Subject: Health Promotion in Oregon - Getting Children Active in School!
Hello Alissa & Sara,
I am unsure of how the “Health Education Promotion” email list works, but I was hoping that our crowd-funding cause might be worthy of an email blast!
I work for a non-profit, grant-funded group called the Healthy Youth Program out of Oregon State University’s Linus Pauling Institute. Two years ago, our team created a very helpful DVD for classroom teachers called “Brain Breaks: Classroom fitness for children,” that very recently received national media attention (http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2014/09/140923142741.htm). Since then, we have started creating a second version of the DVD, Brain breaks 2, and we are seeking crowdfunding as a means to pay for the production costs. This project appears to align with your group’s mission, which is why I am reaching out to you for your help!
Would you please consider sharing our crowdfunding website with anyone you believe might be interested in helping. (Link below)
