Happy New Year Health Education & Promotion Section members!


The Leadership Team with the HEP Section wants to wish you a happy start to
2018! We are excited to work with you this year!


The Leadership Team and several volunteers are busy planning educational,
professional development, and networking opportunities for the HEP Section.
We are looking forward to planning a motivational interviewing training, a
professional development workshop, and a member meet & greet, in addition
to supporting our members at the OPHA Conference this fall and with various
scholarship opportunities.


We hope you are able to join us for some of these events and we want to
make sure that we are able to reach you throughout the year! Please log in
to your OPHA account at www.oregonpublichealth.org and update your contact
information by selecting “edit” under your profile. This way you will stay
up-to-date on all of the OPHA and HEP events and opportunities throughout

Below you can see a tentative calendar for 2018. We will be in touch to
share greater details  about these events and other opportunities. Please
reach out to us through this listserv to share resources, jobs, funding
opportunities or events you would like to promote. You may also contact us
