Oregon Parks and Recreation Commission to consider state rule for National Register of Historic Places program

The Oregon Parks and Recreation Commission will consider the draft National Register program rules for adoption at its meeting this upcoming Wednesday, June 23rd. A meeting agenda and packet materials are available here: https://www.oregon.gov/oprd/CAC/Pages/CAC-oprc.aspx . The meeting is virtual, and open to the public. You can watch the meeting here: watch the meeting live online at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCkqL6iVPBrfCTO27cNmCTwg/videos

The rulemaking process is described in more detail on the agency website here: https://www.oregon.gov/oprd/PRP/pages/PRP-rulemaking.aspx .

As a courtesy, the Oregon State Parks and Recreation Commission does set aside time for general public comments at every business meeting. On this issue specifically, any written or spoken comments on the proposed rule will be shared with the commission after they vote, not before. The public comment period on the rule is closed, so they can't receive any new comment (if they do, it re-opens the comment period, and they can't act while the comment period is open).
