Oregon Commission on Historic Cemeteries to meet in Klamath Falls 
The Oregon Commission on Historic Cemeteries will meet July 16 1-4:30 p.m. at the Klamath County Historical Museum.

Join the commission to learn more about historic cemeteries and preservation. Agenda items will include legislative issues, current projects and future plans. The commission will invite public comments. 

A tour at Linkville Cemetery will follow the meeting!

Cemetery Preservation Basics Workshop
July 17, 9:00-4:30 Fort Klamath Cemetery
The FREE Cemetery Preservation Basics Workshop will involve learning how to approach preservation of a historic cemetery. Instructors Sally Donovan and Bruce Howard will cover marker cleaning, leveling, resetting and adhesive repair. Packets will be provided to each person in attendance covering important aspects of cemetery preservation. Please bring a lunch, beverage, sun screen, knee pad or cushion, lawn chair. You must pre-register to attend, space is limited.
