As a community service, the Capital Reading Council board (a chapter of the Oregon Reading Association) located some handouts you might be interested in using in your schools for a parent giveaway as school gets under way. One is a super cool graphic on the importance of reading at home. The other is a great list of tips for parents on how to read WITH their child.
