For the past 18 years Western Washington University has hosted a Children’s Literature Conference<https://wwuclc.com/> on the last Saturday of February, inviting authors and illustrators to spend a day sharing their work with a group of over 600 enthusiastic literature lovers. This year we have invited all of our past presenters to submit a piece of art or writing on one of two themes—Art as Protest or Art in the Time of COVID—to a virtual exhibit<https://wwuclc.com/2021-event-gallery-live>. The exhibit itself is up for the month of February and on that last Saturday we’ll be hosting two Zoom sessions where interested exhibit visitors can convene to discuss their impressions of the works themselves and the interplay between them. These sessions are free and all are welcome.
