[kids-lib] Friday, Feb 14th Shoutout

Hello everyone,

Happy Valentine's Day! The Library of Congress hosted a family program last week with some great ideas on their kids and families resources page<https://blogs.loc.gov/families/2025/01/enjoy-a-valentines-themed-family-day-on-february-8/>. And their this day in history<https://www.loc.gov/item/today-in-history/february-14/> page is a treasure trove of Valentine history and facts. My favorite library valentines are from Kelsey Bogan, Pennsylvania high school librarian, who made a few punny Valentines a few years ago<https://dontyoushushme.com/2019/02/08/valentines-in-the-library/>. They're still funny. (Scroll below the blog post text to see.) Kelsey linked a Canva template in the comments last year, so these would be fun to share if you need some more Valentines in your life.
