Dear C2C Steering Committee Members: below is an announcement message you
can use to encourage people to take the survey. Please forward to
colleagues and to listservs, removing this first paragraph. Thank you,
Ruth Metz
Dear Colleague, please take a few minutes (about 20) to complete this
important survey about preserving Oregon's heritage collections in archives,
libraries, and museums. The survey can be accessed at
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/OregonPreservationSurvey. The e-survey will
close on Friday, November 12, 2010.
Special Note: We suggest you print the survey in advance as some questions
require preparation or may require your discussion with someone else in your
organization. You can then return to the online survey to key in your
responses. When you go back to the survey from the computer you first used
to open the survey, the survey will open the survey wherever you left off.
You can then return to the online survey to key in your responses. You can
get back into the survey from the computer you were on when you opened the
survey. The survey will open where you left off. After the survey is
finished, you will not be able to re-enter the survey.
To print the survey first, just click on "next" at the bottom of
introductory page of the survey. That will bring up the survey and then from
the "File" menu on your browser select "Print."
Taking this survey will directly benefit you because it will result in an
Oregon Preservation Action Plan for archives, libraries, and museums. The
Action Plan will guide future grant proposals to help meet Oregon's
preservation needs.
The survey results will be announced in early December. The Heritage
Leaders' Summit will be in February.
You may send any comments or questions concerning the survey to
ruthmetz at spiretech.com.
Thanks in advance for taking the survey.
