Circulation Supervisor


Pacific University Library, Forest Grove, Oregon, is seeking dynamic, forward thinking candidates for our Circulation Supervisor position.

General DESCRIPTION OF POSITION:
The Circulation Supervisor reports to the Circulation Department Manager and works closely with the Manager to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of all the various activities of the department, including the online circulation system, Summit borrowing, faculty reserves, and stack maintenance.



The supervisor performs independent paraprofessional work requiring application of library specific knowledge. He/she assists students, faculty, and staff with their needs; trains and supervises circulation student assistants; and is responsible for monitoring the security and safety of patrons and the facility.



This part-time position (26 hours/week) includes evening and week-end hours.
