Greetings from The Oregon Encyclopedia.

Please see the attached press release from the Oregon Encyclopedia (The
OE), an on-line resource of Oregon history and culture. In partnership with
McMenamins, The OE continues its History Night series with a look back at
the people and events that have shaped our communities. Special guests and
historical images are a part of every event.

next Edgefield Oregon
Encyclopedia History Night learn about the history of amusement parks and
how they evolved
into the entertainment attractions we enjoy today. Through photographs and
video footage you
will have the opportunity to learn about little-known amusement parks such
as Council Crest
Park and Lotus Isle. Take a ride on an entertaining and informative journey
through more than
half a dozen historic and current amusement parks in Oregon.
